I was always told I would “grow out of my acne,” but at age 22 with no end to my acne in sight, I consider that belief a myth. Actually when I was in my teens, I remember one of my aunts was still struggling with acne in her mid-thirties, but I still held on to the hope that maybe I was one of the lucky ones who WOULD “grow out of acne.”
Well, we all know how that story ends. However, now that I’ve learned to accept myself with acne, I actually consider it a blessing. Since I became so determined to clear my skin, it’s led me to this whole other world of natural stuff that I really enjoy learning about.
So, why do I want to clear my acne?
1. To get clear, healthy-looking skin
The obvious answer – I want clear skin! Nobody likes having pimples and dark spots on their face, and body in some cases. I’ve always envied others who’ve never had problem skin when I tried everything to heal mine, but now I see them as an inspiration to reach my goal!
2. To heal my entire body from the inside-out
Contrary to popular belief, most acne is caused from something happening internally, not externally. Whether it is a hormonal imbalance, allergies, food sensitivities, Candida overgrowth, etc., I’ve learned that in order to completely clear my acne, I will have to start healing from the inside to see results on the outside. When it’s all said and done, I’m sure I’ll be feeling great, and my body will be thanking me!
3. To complete my goal of achieving acne-free skin, and to help you clear your skin!
I can’t wait to clear my skin, and I want help you clear yours too! I know how frustrating it can be to have acne at any age, so I’m hoping this blog will help you clear your skin as I’m clearing mine!
Stay tuned for more posts on how I plan on clearing my skin the natural way. :)
